Meet Sylvanye "Sam" Roh

'Sam" Roh is a kiln-formed glass, silversmith and certified precious metal clay artist and instructor. A resident of Smyrna for twenty years, she also does 3D laser engraving and cutting with wood, leather, acrylic, metal, and even glass! She has been creating for about 25 years. She creates wearable art jewelry, wall art, glass tiles, desktop accessories, dishware, and more with fused glass. She also teaches various workshops, from beginner-level classes to master’s level, kiln-formed glass classes. She teaches on location at her studio and online and can travel to do workshops and classes for larger groups, corporations, and businesses looking for team-building exercises. She is the #1 U.S. Distributor for the MicroKiln and the Grande Microwave Kiln. Her work has been displayed in Zama, Japan, in the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian Gift Shop in Washington, DC, and in the gift shop at the Frist Museum in Nashville.  She has also been featured on Channel 5's "Talk of the Town" and recognized in Smyrna's Journey Through Local Smyrna publication as a featured top business in the area.
